Menu Guidelines
Restaurants can list up to 15 items that authentically reflect their concept. Your menu should help visitors understand your business's specialty.
A burger restaurant should focus on burgers, fries, shakes, and similar food. A taco spot should stick to tacos and Mexican-inspired items. Keep it thematic and consistent.
Weekly Operating Expectations
The IBB (In-City Business Board) requires minimum weekly operating hours:
- Restaurants: 8–10 hours weekly
- Mechanic Shops: 15 hours weekly
- All Business Owners: Minimum 5 hours weekly personal activity
If you need time away, submit a Leave of Absence request for approval. Unapproved absences may result in business review.
Business Funds
All business funds must go toward legitimate business operations:
- Employee bonuses and salaries
- Business maintenance and upgrades
- Operational costs
Misappropriation of business funds can result in business closure and the business being listed for sale.
Mechanic Shop Oversight
Due to their high income generation, mechanic shops have additional requirements:
- At least one staff member must have Discord access or a manager role.
- This person is responsible for overseeing fund management and daily operations.
- Financial records should be maintained and available upon request.
Employee Limits
- Restaurants: Maximum 15 employees
- Mechanic Shops: Maximum 20 employees
These limits help maintain quality and prevent any single business from dominating the economy.
